In life, we used to plan everything accordingly. We can’t deny that each of us is rooting for a better life by setting up goals and plans. In the family, we always want the goods for them by giving them everything we have. In the church, we used to help each other’s problems according to God’s will. Expecting them to have a good outcome to their problem. Expecting them to change their bad habits into good ones.
We are all teachers for some time in our lives. We teach good values to our family, workmates, and friends. As it is our nature to know what is good and bad even for ourselves. So, here is the thought. We know and I’m sure that you are not expecting to get a return from them, but we are expecting something according to our expectations. As we want to control everything in life, we imagine things in line with our fantasy. No matter how good your intention is to them or no matter how good we are to them, it doesn’t mean that they will respond or treat you according to your perspective.
The kindest person is the one who has the bigger heart and they are the person who gets hurt the most. When you give too much love to a person, you will also expect them to love you the same as you love them that much. You give too much, so don’t expect that they can also give much back to you. In the end, you just hurt yourself from your own action.
Let’s take it into Science. Isaac Newton stated that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Whatever you offer to someone, they might respond according to their will. Either they respond badly or well, it’s up to them. You have to believe that God created the Universe and that the Universe is just watching above us. The Universe knows your action. It will make a way to give back to whatever you do in this world. Even nature will give us long life if we are all going to take care of our mother nature. Even though you cannot get a return from what you have offered to them, just continue on being kind towards others.
In Luke 6:35-36, “But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Highest because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” The truth is, it is so hard to love our enemies. We have an ego to protect ourselves with, but that is what Jesus wants us to do. Jesus wants our actions to be in line with our God, the Father. We don’t need action against those who persecuted us. We only need to pray for them for what is good. We are to be a channel of God’s love. Jesus showed us love and mercy that we certainly did not deserve.
So here is my point. I’ve been judged for a while, misinterpreted, being looked down upon, they might say I might be the person not to trust with, anything. I believe we all are, right? One thing I observe is yes, we do also need to prove ourselves to them, especially to our loved ones. For them also to see our effort. Just take it all as your motivation. You should persevere with all of the things that come your way.
Life taught me that you can’t control everything. Not everyone has the same heart as you if you think. God knows your intention. Do good to people because it is what you are. You are a good person and what they do in return for you should not change the fact that you are a good person.
so true ❤️
