No doubt that Kariling was one of the famous childhood games in the Philippines, especially during the 90s and 00’s time. Kariling was one of the “Larong Pinoy” in the Philippines and this describes how creative and resourceful Filipino people are. To play the game you only need an old bicycle tire, a stick for the steering wheel, and of course, you have to be a kid to play the game. To start the game driver should push the tire using the stick as a steering wheel to avoid wobbling, going sideways or falling flat.

Nowadays, in some provinces area, Kariling was played in a high-level racing tournament. Even blogger Kyle from Becoming Filipino covered a Kariling racing tournament on his Youtube channel.
